Freeze the pumpkin - how it works!

If you want to freeze a pumpkin by freezing it, you have two different options to choose from. When deciding on a possibility, it is important that you know in advance what you want to do with the pumpkin later. If you want to prepare the pumpkin as a vegetable, you should cut it into smaller pieces before freezing. However, if you want to make soups out of it at a later time, you should freeze it better than mus.

Step 1:

If you want to freeze the pumpkin raw, you should first remove the skin. You can eat the Hokkaido pumpkin together with the bowl, so you don't have to cut it off. For other types of pumpkin, however, you should remove them before freezing.

Step 2:

Then you should cut open the pumpkin and remove the seeds and stalk. A little tip: Under no circumstances simply dispose of the seeds. You can roast them wonderfully.

Step 3:

Then cut the pumpkin into cubes or small pieces and fill individual portions into freezer containers or bags.

Do not blanch the pumpkin before freezing, otherwise it will quickly become mushy.

If it is certain that the pumpkin will later be used to prepare a soup, you can put it in the freezer in the form of mus.

Step 1:

With this variant, you have to hollow out the pumkin, core it and cut it into small pieces. If it is not a Hokkaido, you must first remove the shell.

Step 2:
